From Thursday 26th – Sunday 29th of April and Thursday May 3rd – Sunday May 6th, the Marina Casa de Campo and EnergDominicana are hosting the “1st Art Fair Marina Casa de Campo” with numerous art exhibits by national and international artists along the Paseo del Mar in the Marina Casa de Campo.

Yesterday, Sunday the 29th of April we decided to visit the “1st Art Fair Marina Casa de Campo” located along the Paseo del Mar and in the interest of keeping our Casa de Campo community as informed as possible, we would like to update our description of this event:
The “1st Art Fair Marina Casa de Campo” includes:
• A collection of art works
• A small collection of rustic furniture
Although we only passed through once (on Sunday), there was as far as we could see no other events or attractions taking place.
HOWEVER, if you are in the Marina Casa de Campo whilst the 2nd part of the art fair is on (Thursday May 3rd – Sunday May 6th) and you fancy a stroll, you may find it worthwhile wandering up the Paseo del Mar and taking a look at the art work.
This is our original description, which we now believe to be inaccurate:
The “1st Art Fair Marina Casa de Campo” promises to bring together all Casa de Campo villa owners, guests, visitors and residents tol enjoy a wide range of activities involving paintings, sculptures, handcrafts, cigars, and photography.
Of course, being in a tropical country the event will also include one very important element; music! Attendees will enjoy the best of rythms like jazz, merengue, a symphonic orquestra – and for the kids, the participation of some friendly clowns in some spots of the Marina, along with other surprises and raffles!
The fair will be open from 3pm to 10pm every day AND there will also be FREE painting and sculpture classes on Friday and Saturday.
