The 19th edition of the McDaniel Tennis Teaching Pro’s Tournament, organized by PBO, has started and will run from March 7 to 10. This exciting event brings together tennis-teaching professionals from the Racquet Center and La Romana Country Club for exhilarating doubles matches. All the donations received during the tournament will go towards the player’s health insurance, ball boy scholarships, English lessons, and college scholarships.
Doubles matches have long been a highlight of this tournament’s success, marking its 8th year with pre-arranged draws showcasing Casa de Campo’s finest talent, now divided into two flights. Matches unfold across the courts of La Romana Country Club and the Racquet Center, with winners celebrating their victories during an awards ceremony following the finals at LRCC.
The inclusion of the Boleritos tennis tournament adds an exciting new dimension to this year’s proceedings, promising even more excitement and competition for participants and spectators alike.
This event, started by Mr. Rick McDaniel, is a beloved tradition among Casa de Campo villa owners, residents, and visitors who love the sport. An open invitation is extended to all to join in the festivities.
For those considering sponsorship, there’s an opportunity to support LRCC and Racquet Center players and ball boys directly. Individual and corporate sponsors are encouraged to contribute to the McDaniel Tennis Program, with all donations being tax-deductible.
