This Thursday, February 24th, the 17th Annual McDaniel Tennis Tournament, got started with the first matches of the doubles tournament between the professional players of both Casa de Campo’s tennis clubs; the La Terraza and La Romana Country Club. Like every year, all donations will go exclusively to the Player’s Health Insurance, the Ball Boys Scholarship Fund, English lessons, College Scholarships.
Doubles have been incredibly successful for this tournament so this will be the 6th year with pre-arranged draws, featuring the best players in Casa de Campo. Matches will be played at the La Romana Country Club and La Terraza’s tennis courts, and the happy winners will receive their trophies during an awards ceremony following the finals at LRCC.
This tournament is always an exciting and popular event among Casa de Campo villa owners, residents and visitors alike and everyone is invited to attend!
Since the beginning of the McDaniel Family Foundation in 2005, donations are used exclusively for the children’s and players’ benefit. 17th annual McDaniel Tennis Teaching Pro’s Tournament
Friday, Feb 25, 9 AM – Quarter Finals at the La Romana Country Club.
Saturday, Feb 26, 9 AM – Semi-Finals at the LRCC.
Sunday, Feb 27, 4 PM – Finals at the LRCC.
Sunday, Feb 27, 6 pm (or immediately after the finals) the Awards Ceremony will be held at the LRCC.
