A beautiful racehorse named “Teeth of the Dog”, co-owned by 2 Casa de Campo villa owners raced to glory this past Saturday the 7th of April at the Wood Memorial Race, qualifying for the “Kentucky Derby” to be ran on Saturday May 5th.
“Teeth of the Dog” is co-owned by Dominican Minister of foreign affairs and Casa de Campo villa owner, Carlos Morales Troncoso with fellow Casa de Campo villa owner Jose Singer. In fact the home of Jose overlooks the beautiful oceanfront #18 hole of the “Teeth of the Dog” – a view that perhaps inspired the name.
Carlos Morales and the Dominican delegation celebrate the victory!
Thrilled to see their horse racing at the 88th running of the famous Wood Memorial Race (qualifier for the Kentucky Derby), the proud co-owners cheered “Teeth of the Dog” to victory waving Dominican flags and were joined by an equally enthusiastic Dominican delegation, who were all exhilarated to see the longshot come in 3rd, and with odds pf 15-1 no doubt left with full pockets!
“Teeth of the Dog” will now run in America’s most famous horserace; the Kentucky Derby on Saturday May 5th!
