No smoke without fire… Teeth of the Dog has once again been named as the Caribbean’s best golf course, meanwhile the Dominican Republic was also named the Caribbean’s #1 golf destination.

This time the accolade came from the World Golf Awards whose mission is “to celebrate and reward excellence in golf tourism, world class courses and golf destinations.”
The World Golf Awards are part of World Travel Awards, currently celebrating its 21st anniversary as “the Oscars of the travel industry”. Casa de Campo was recently honored in the World Travel Awards as the Dominican Republic’s Leading Resort and the Dominican Republic’s Leading Spa Resort. In previous years Casa de Campo has also been named as the Worlds Leading Golf Resort in the World Travel Awards.
To win “Caribbean’s #1 Golf Course”, the Teeth of the Dog was ranked higher than all other golf courses in the Caribbean, including the Cedar Valley Golf Club (Antigua & Barbuda), Divi Aruba – The Links (Aruba), St. Andrews Golf Club (Trinidad & Tobago) and White Witch Golf Course (Jamaica).
The Teeth of the Dog is also consistently ranked as the #1 golf course in the Caribbean by Golf Magazine. In fact the Teeth of the Dog is universally considered to be the #1 golf course in the Caribbean… why?! Because it’s simply the best!
Congratulations to the Casa de Campo golf department and of course to Pete Dye!
