Many people assume that creativity is an inborn talent that their kids either do or do not have it, but actually creativity has a lot to do with technical skills that can be developed. Altos de Chavón School of Design has very talented teachers to help guide young ones to hone in on their artistic side!
Fashion Sketching teaches body proportion, how garments drape on the body when worn, and style and attitude in conveying fashion poses. Interior Design will focus on coordinating themes in home decor, spacing furniture in room layouts, and how to think creatively when designing within a specific context or category. Creative Fashion Transformation is all about taking something as it were and making it new. So often trends are recycled but with a spin and new twist that makes them more relevant to today’s style guide, and this course is all about vision and self-expression.
Drawing will have a focus on comics with colors and stylized techniques, while Photography will capture what’s real in nature and human behavior. The list of these courses available are as follows. They are for kids ages 11 to 17 years old, and are 6 sessions each at RD$5,500.
