Next Saturday the 10th of December, the Casa de Campo Holiday season will be officially inaugurated in Altos de Chavón – with a spectacular inauguration ceremony, which will this year include the Nutcracker ballet, to be performed at the Altos de Chavón amphitheater.
The Nutcracker Ballet performance is being presented by the Dominican National Ballet and sponsored by the Dominican Republic’s Ministry of Culture, as part of the Christmas celebrations which will be held in Altos de Chavón.
Directed by Marianella Sanllent, the Nutcracker is a two-act ballet performance which has become popular since the mid 20th century and has been interpreted by countless ballet companies during the Christmas Holidays.
The Nutcracker will be performed on Saturday the 10th of December in the Altos de Chavón Amphitheater and it is completely free! The presebtation starts at 7pm – but arrive early so you can enjoy the Bazaar Navideño, which will be taking place on the Altos de Chavón main plaza, from 11am to 10pm.
