The “XXXIX CHAVÓN School of Design Exhibition Day” presents the creations of over 100 new emerging voices in art and design, simultaneously taking place in different locations throughout Santo Domingo.

The graduates of the 39th promotion offer the public a set of exhibitions with incredible works developed by them, belonging to the fields of Fine Arts, Film, Communication Design, Photography, Illustration, Interior and Product Design, Fashion Marketing and Communication, and Fashion Design.

These multidisciplinary displays highlight not only the talent and creativity of an emerging artistic generation but also the experience, as a prerequisite for graduation, of producing an actual exhibition through exploration, research, and creation that goes beyond the academic space.

The “Graduation 39” exhibition at the Chavón|Miraflores Campus revolves around collaborative artistic actions, with works by new artists in Communication Design, Illustration, Interior and Product Design. It will be available until the end of June.

The graduates of the Fine Arts program present the exhibition “In Transit: Poetics of Metamorphosis,” displaying a carefully selected range of paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints, installations, videos, and performances, among other types of pieces. The House of Music will open its doors on May 9th for everyone interested in the exhibition.

With “Roots,” the recent graduates in Fashion Marketing and Communication and Fashion Design come together to present an experiential exhibition inspired by the Los Haitises National Park that connects and symbolizes their inner selves. The sustainable process visually portrays their growth at CHAVÓN.
