Chavón The School of Design is preparing its online programming of all its summer camps, so that its virtual visitors, aged between 3 and 17 years, immerse themselves from the comfort of their homes in a sea of knowledge and thus have a great time for several weeks.

The training adventure starts from June 22 to July 24 with the specialized camps “Drawing and painting” and “Illustration and comic”, where children from 9 to 12 years old will have the opportunity to capture their creativity on paper or canvas, interact with visual artists and to know spaces of the Dominican pictorial expression; like discovering the fantastic world of creating and illustrating, and conceiving and executing characters and projects. Both educational experiences will take place in five weeks, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

On their side, the creative camp that, with the same dates, times and duration as the specialized camps, will bring together participants from 3 to 6 years old, from 7 to 9 years old and from 10 to 12 years old, plans activities, such as: giving them an electronic and interactive tour of the world and show the great universal artists, delve into Dominican culture and art, reveal the new tools and expressions of contemporary art, dive into the world of theater and movement, and teach them how to create games photographic and cinematographic.

In addition, these kids will be able to enjoy -weekly and alternately- sessions of yoga, hip hop, contemporary dance, Zumba, meringue, bachata, mangulina, karate; and the accompaniment and advice of storyteller Anya Damirón, as a guest of honor.

With a personalized education system and a creative and enriching environment, CHAVÓN La has also thought about the older children of the family (from 13 to 17 years old), in order to include them in its electronic camps with avant-garde themes and of great relevance to the country, such as photography, fashion design, drawing and painting, illustration and character creation, architecture and interior design, graphic design and animation, and artistic expression.

In a period of four weeks, between June 29 and July 24, teens who join these camps will not only be able to access, from 2:30 to 5:30 in the afternoon, a secure educational platform, but will also have the guidance of experienced teachers who, in turn, are recognized specialists in the orange economy in the Dominican Republic.

It should be noted that CHAVÓN The School of Design, as a Faculty with more than 20 years of experience in its area, opts for the first time for online education as a training alternative during the COVID-19 pandemic and on this occasion teaches each virtual camp with an investment of RD $ 20,000.
