Taught by him at universities worldwide since 1998, he will be coming to the Dominican Republic this summer to teach anyone interested this fascinating technique at Chavón School of Design in Santo Domingo!

These unusual methodologies have been made freely available online since 2001 and can be used diversely to make men’s and women’s clothing, accessories, and hollow interior/exterior products. Julian has led energetic Subtraction Cutting masterclasses in over 25 countries including the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Australia, USA, Russia, Brazil, New Zealand, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, China, Nigeria, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Poland, Slovenia, Vietnam, Georgia, Lebanon, the Dominican Republic and France!

Julian Roberts has shown 12 womenswear collections during London Fashion Week under the pseudonym label ‘nothing nothing’ and ‘JULIANAND’, and is currently MA Tutor for Mixed Media Textiles at the Royal College of Art in London UK.
