Casa de Campo wedding Casa de Campo wedding@cdcliving: Tell me a little about you and Anthony. What do you do and where do you live? Anthony and I live on the upper east side in New York City! We have recently partnered and started our own fashion production company, Little Miss Lady, which represents Miss Popular clothing. Anthony is also involved in his family businesses, gourmet food and fresh seafood emporiums, Citarella, started by his father Joe Gurrera. @cdcliving: Where did you meet? Tell us your love story! Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tail. Fate summoned us to jury duty and “Our Story” began. On a beautiful spring day in New York we fell in love. We were both picked for a 3 week trial and went to lunch everyday. @cdcliving: Why did you choose to get married in Casa de Campo? Anthony’s parents own a home there and we have been vacationing there since we met and fell in love with all the romantic scenery from Altos de Chavón to our private villa. altos_de_chavon_wedding @cdcliving: Where did the ceremony take place? In a private villa on the beach. @cdcliving: Tell us about the ceremony, what made it special? Our friends and family. 170 people that came from all around the world to share in one of the most special and happiest times in our lives. We shared 3 fabulous days of events with everyone! @cdcliving: Which part of the celebration was the most special and why? It was absolutely the ceremony! For me, walking down the aisle toward my husband-to-be, Anthony. And for him, watching me walk down the aisle to him. @cdcliving: Who walked you down the aisle? My only sibling, my younger brother Michael Castronovo. 🙂 casa_de_campo_wedding_3 @cdcliving: Who designed your dress? I designed my dress and Henry Shickerling of Tosca Couture created it for me with French lace, silk organza and Swarovski crystals. @cdcliving: What is it that you love about Casa de Campo and Altos de Chavón? My husband Anthony loves the old world medieval Italian setting in the middle of the Caribbean! He insisted it would be a wedding paradise. 🙂 Which it was 🙂 @cdcliving: The set-up in Altos de Chavon was quite grand, what was the decision behind that? Altos de Chavón IS grand, we just added to the fairy tale with a tent that assured that we would have a great time come rain or shine and the floral arrangements had to complement the magical place. Anthony loves fireworks, so having them was a very special treat! @cdcliving: Who did the music / catering / decorations / wedding planning? We had a combination of musical entertainment to make sure the dancing would not stop! We started our cocktail hour at Sunset on the Dye Fore Terrace with Victor Mitrov, and then moved to Plaza Chavon for the reception with Benny and the Cupids Band, and DJ Kambax, and David Almengot for Hora Loca. Decorations were done by Tres Decoraciones and our wedding planner was Betty Medina, from Casa de Campo. @cdcliving: Did your wedding live up to your expectations? Of course it was the most amazing and magical time of our lives!! Congratulations Lisa and Anthony!
