Silgon, inc. a modern media company last week celebrated it’s 10th year of successful business with dinner and drinks at local La Romana restaurant Rico Bistro.With Rico Bistro’s delicious lasagne, spinach dip and freshly made juices, as well as a couple of beers it was the perfect way to celebrate our continued success and yet another year of business full with new challenges and accomplishments! A Night of High Fashion Hosted by the Juicy Girls: Dec 26th 2009 A party to celebrate the opening of Carmen Sol NEW YORK’s second store in the Marina Casa de Campo, the evening was hosted by 19 beautiful ladies – our JUICY GIRLS, who helped us to welcome the over 300 guests to the event as well as modelling Juicy Couture tracksuits at our Celebrity wall. The Feria Barlovento: Jan 6th 2009 The Marina’s first street fair was a huge success and attracted over 500 Casa de Campo villa owners, residents and visitors, who strolled along and enjoyed a wonderful evening with beautiful weather, spectacular shopping specials, as well as music and entertainment For more info and photos, click here.
The ChiChigua Fest: Feb 20th 2010 Over 250 people attended our kite-flying festival on the Casa de Campo polo fields – a fun day for all the family with kite flying contests and a BBQ! For more info and photos, click here.
Carnaval en Casa! Feb 27th 2010 The Carnaval en Casa attracted a crowd of several hundred people to the Marina Casa de Campo, to enjoy a street festival with a lively Carnaval parade, led by a Dominican ‘Comparsa de Carnaval’ and joined by Casa de Campo’s residents and guests dressed in their best carnaval costumes! Easter Egg Hunt in Altos de Chavón: April 4th 2010 An Easter Egg Hunt in the gardens of Altos de Chavón; with the help of the Easter bunny, more than 50 excited children ran around the garden in hunt of the Easter Bunny’s ‘lost’ Easter Eggs. For more photos and info, click here.
Noche Dominicana: April 21st 2010 Organised for the Marina Casa de Campo to celebrate the start of the Rolex Farr 40 regatta, the Marina came alive with beautiful Dominican music, dancing, and laughter, all washed down with plenty of Dominican rum, aqua de coco and lots of classic Dominican food! Bazaar in Altos de Chavón: June 12th 2010 At our first bazaar, more than 50 merchants selling jewelry, art, clothes, purses, food and more took part with at least 500 people who passed by, shopped, had a bite to eat and enjoyed a drink throughout the afternoon. For more info and photos, click here.
The Ye Ol’Fashioned HOEDOWN: July 3rd 2010 A traditional (ish) western/American party with cowboys, donkey polo, kids games and more, which was sponsored by Autobritanica Ltd. and Jack Daniel’s whiskey. The party continued into the evening with a LIVE band, Can-Can dancers and a little impromptu karaoke. For more info and photos, click here.
Elmo in Chavon: August 21st, 2010 Elmo, from Sesame street visited Altos de Chavon and spent a fun morning of singing and fun with the Children of Casa de Campo and La Romana.  Casa de Campo Living co-hosted this event with the Museo Arqueológico. For more photos and info, click here.
Bazaar Dueños 2010: October 10th, 2010 A day of fun, shopping, kids activities, food and champagne: with more than 50 shops and businesses selling clothes, jewellery, swimsuits, artesanas and more, a jewellery workshop, photo art, kids fashion show, a special lunch menu at La Piazetta and a special Champagne Lounge by La Piazetta ! Bazaar Navideño: Saturday December 18th A Christmas market in Altos de Chavón, the Bazaar Navideño will be the perfect place to buy last minute Christmas gifts; with a variety of businesses selling christmas gifts, decorations, jewellery, candies and cakes, as well as kids activities and culminating in the Alumbrado of Chavón (the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony) – the Bazaar Navideño will be the perfect way to kick start the holiday season!
Pueblito Navideño:  Saturday December 18th – January 5th This Christmas Altos de Chavón and Casa de Campo Living  are working together to convert Altos de Chavón into a Christmas village; with live music, shows, dancing, a kids Christmas party and Christmas scavenger hunt, champagne lounge as well as Santa and more!
