We love the annual Fundación MIR Sugar Bazaar. It’s shopping for a good cause, so what’s not to love?! Last week from Thursday, April 15th to Sunday, April 17th, the MIR Sugar Bazaar was open in the La Romana Country Club as part of the 35th annual Sugar Golf Tournament, and the activity raised much-needed funds for the Fundación MIR charity which runs 3 schools with more than 2000 students in La Romana. This year the Fundación MIR gave a twist to its traditional Sugar Bazaar and offered attendees a unique and unforgettable shopping experience.  With the participation of a fantastic variety of vendors, selling lots of very tempting items from jewelry to homeware, the MIR Bazaar followed all the health and safety protocols and was a huge success attended by Casa de Campo villa owners, residents, and visitors… who shopped, shopped, shopped! Casa de Campo villa owners, friends, and family enjoyed shopping for gifts, accessories, and more. We saw jewelry by Monica Valera, Dominique Calderon, Sissy Bermudez, Larimar la Hisponola, and Margamari Joyas; clothes from Cabana, Batey’s, Boho Hunter, and for kids El Faldellin by Surelis; home decor options included Casa Alegre, La Caravana, L’Abehla, Trellis Home Decor, Casa Alfarera, as well as a new concept store from La Marina, Tahay Store; also present was L’Occitane for skin care. Definitely, the MIR family of collaborators grows more and more and they continue to show year after year that their priority will always be the growth and development of the children of La Romana. Congratulations to Fundación MIR for putting together an excellent event! We had such a great time we’re already looking forward to next year!
