Last Saturday the 26th of November, Casa de Campo’s female villa owners and visitors came together to raise money for the Hogar del Niño – dancing the night away at the Zumbathon Charity event held on the Paseo del Mar in the Marina Casa de Campo.

With more than 200 participants, the Zumbathon was a HUGE success, raising several thousands of dollars for the Hogar del Niño, a children’s day care and education center located in La Romana town.

Leading the activity was Fefi Salvatierra, who runs regular Zumba classes in the Marina Casa de Campo. Fefi was accompanied by both national and international Zumba instructors; María Alicia Piantini, Dafne De Frias, Siria Mieses, Carlos Torres, as well as Betsy Dopico – who had flown in from Miami especially to take part in the event. Congratulations to all who took part!
