Save the date! The perfect event for fashionistas and art lovers alike will take place this coming Friday the 10th of August – the opening of new art/photo exhibit “Buscando Esencias” at the Altos de Chavón art gallery in Casa de Campo.
Approximately every 6-8 weeks the Altos de Chavón art gallery opens a new art exhibit – which is always celebrated with an opening cocktail in the form of an official inauguration and so that members of the Casa de Campo, La Romana and Altos de Chavón communities may enjoy a drink with friends whilst admiring the art work, usually with the opportunity to meet the artist and hear their inspirations/explanations of their creations.
The next art exhibit “Buscando Esencias” is in fact an art-photo exhibit, created by artist Emiliano Larizza, inspired by and based around the fashions of famous Dominican designer, Jenny Polanco. This new exhibit promises to be enchanting and intriguing; featuring typical Caribbean scenes and the beautiful fashion designs and accessories of Jenny Polanco.
