Participate and enjoy a wonderful weekend along with all your family and friends at this year’s Family Weekend by the Fundación MIR, with both golf and tennis tournaments for all the family will be played to raise funds for the continued development of the Fundación MIR’s 3 schools in La Romana, attended by children of the greater La Romana area who are most in need.
This year, Casa de Campo villa owners, residents and visitors will enjoy a wonderful prize-giving ceremony for the enthusiastic golfers and tennis players, which will be celebrated during the spectacular Dinner and Party at Minitas Beach, sponsored by the the Baptist Health Hospital in Miami and Tiffany & Co with their “Mystery Blue Box” wall.

The Fundación MIR Family Weekend for Life – 2011
On Saturday the 13th of August 2011, the Fundación MIR Family Weekend for Life event was celebrated in Casa de campo with fun golf and tennis tournaments, followed by a wonderful celebratory dinner, dance and after party!
The Fundación MIR is a non-profit organization which works to provide education to the children of the greater La Romana area, who are most in need. They run 3 schools; the MIR Esperanza (boys vocational school), the Escuela Tecnica Vocacional Fundación MIR (girls vocational school) and the Primaria MIR (infants school).
