The Fundación MIR Family Weekend 2017 is two months away and full of activities you don’t want to miss! What will take place on August 18th and 19th will see the support of hundreds of community members and international guests returning to Casa de Campo to enjoy one of the resort’s all-time favorite events.
Beginning with a welcome party at Genesis Nightclub in Altos de Chavón on Friday, MIR invites you to let loose and loosen up before the big golf tournament! The following morning, tennis clinics for kids will commence at 10:00a.m. at the La Romana Country Club, which will also be host to the weekend’s golf tournament later that afternoon. As usual, the annual affair will conclude with an awards ceremony and dinner at Minitas Beach. Last year’s lively beach party included delicious food and cocktails along with merengue dancing and a DJ after-party that went well into the night. We can’t wait to experience it all again!
The Fundación MIR encourages you to SAVE-THE-DATE for the 2017 Family Weekend that will no doubt see a lot of action within the resort. Our spirits are high as we look forward to supporting the work of the foundation. Proceeds will benefit the school’s education, healthcare, and housing to La Romana’s youth in need. Join the cause in a fun, active way — mark your calendars!
