This year the 17th annual McDaniel Tennis Teaching Pro’s Tournament will be played from the 24th to the 27th of February 2022, a tournament between the professional players of both Casa de Campo’s tennis clubs; the La Terraza and La Romana Country Club, which is also the major fundraiser for the Ball Boy’s Scholarship Foundation.
Doubles have been incredibly successful for this tournament so this will be the 6th year with pre-arranged draws featuring the best players in Casa de Campo. Matches will be played at the La Romana Country Club and La Terraza’s tennis courts. The happy winners will receive their trophies during an awards ceremony following the finals at LRCC. This year there will also be a doubles exhibition match with two of Casa’s tennis players and two pros! How fun will that be?!

Thursday, Feb 24, 9 AM – Play begins at the CDC La Terraza Tennis Center.
Friday, Feb 25, 9 AM – Quarter Finals at the La Romana Country Club.
Saturday, Feb 26, 9 AM – Semi-Finals at the LRCC.
Sunday, Feb 27, 4 PM – Finals at the LRCC.
Sunday, Feb 27, 6 pm (or immediately after the finals) the Awards Ceremony will be held at the LRCC.
Donations will go to the Player’s Health Insurance, the Ball Boys Scholarship Fund, and College Scholarships for three former ball boys. Plus, the boys and teaching pro’s receive weekly English lessons! Contribution checks in dollars can be made out to McDaniel Family Foundation, and in pesos to Fundación Familia McDaniel. Any member of the McDaniel Tennis Committee will be very pleased to accept your donation, or you may drop it off at the office at the LRCC.
