Save the date! The Fundación MIR Family Weekend 2018 is two months away and full of activities you don’t want to miss! What will take place on August 17th and 18th will see the support of hundreds of community members and international guests returning to Casa de Campo to enjoy one of the resort’s all-time favorite events.
“Ayudando a ser” – defined in English as “Helping the children become the best they can be for a brighter future” is the motto of the Fundación MIR charity which runs 3 schools in La Romana with more than 1,200 students – and so when you attend the Fundación MIR’s Family Weekend for Life this summer your donation will contribute to the future success of these promising and talented children.
The annual affair is also a great opportunity to have a great time with your family and friends in Casa de Campo, where Casa de Campo residents, visitors, and villa owners will enjoy a fabulous day of golf, a tennis tournament, as well as the “Dancing for life” dinner gala.
The Fundación MIR encourages you to SAVE-THE-DATE for the 2018 Family Weekend that will no doubt see a lot of action within the resort. The Fundación MIR is a non-profit organization which works to provide education to the children of the greater La Romana area, who are most in need. They run 3 schools; the MIR Esperanza (boys vocational school), the Escuela Técnica Vocacional Fundación MIR (girls vocational school) and the Primaria MIR (infants school).
