Save the date! The 29th annual Magical Splendor for Life by the Fundación MIR is slated for Saturday the 19th of January 2018. The annual fundraising event hosted by Alfy and Raysa Fanjul brings people near and far to Casa de Campo’s resort gates. With a golf tournament that is always exceptionally well-attended and a dinner-dance party that includes a fashion show by internationally acclaimed designers, it’s no wonder guests mark their calendars in advance to attend.
For the fourth year in a row, one of Casa de Campo’s most elegant social and fundraising occasions will see the return of Naeem Khan to Casa Grande. Back in 2016, during his first participation in this event, we sat down with the remarkably talented designer for an interview in CasaLife. This year, he showcased his extraordinary Spring/ Summer 2018 ready-to-wear collection with dresses that varied from little black dresses to sheer, beaded overlays, to colorful princess dresses, to elegant evening gown looks. The crowd was completely mesmerized by the music, colors, and statement pieces going down the runway.
Do not miss the chance to join Alfy and Raysa and the Casa de Campo community again in support of the Fundacíon MIR. As in years past, there will be a “Mystery Shopping Wall” where those who make a contribution receive an exclusive surprise gift! The Fundación MIR is a non-profit organization which works to provide education to the children of the greater La Romana area, who are most in need. They run 3 schools; the MIR Esperanza (boys vocational school), the Escuela Técnica Vocacional Fundación MIR (girls vocational school) and the Primaria MIR (infants school).
