Santo Domingo Cultural Activities – March 27th to 29th

This post is also available in: Spanish

It’s an exciting weekend for those looking to get a quick fix of art and culture, despite the fact that most of these events are taking place in Santo Domingo.  As we don’t always have the luxury of enjoying cultural activities in Casa de Campo, we are at lease close enough to be able to enjoy a fun weekend in Santo Domingo.  While we will do our best to start bringing you the most interesting cultural activities on a regular basis, we thought we would focus on the next couple of days and then work with your feedback to see how we move this section forward.
This week in Santo Domingo is particularly exciting with a lot going on. With so many options at the various theatres, and with things being relatively slow in Casa de Campo, it seems like an ideal time to get a little escape from our caribbean paradise. Personally I would recommend going to see the ‘Teatro Negro de Praga,’ it is a particularly entertaining, if not a magical event.
If you are interested in staying one or two nights, we would recommend the Hotel Santo Domingo, who has extended special rates for Casa de Campo Living readers. So if you are interested, please give them a ring at 809-221-3672 for details or reservations, just let them know we sent you.
