WAO Innovation Hub by PBO hosted its first Sangria and Candle-making workshop on Saturday, June 4th with the collaboration of Chavonera and beloved Casa De Campo artist, America Olivo de Pool. The workshop turned out to be a success due to the great acceptance of the community where, between laughter, camaraderie, and delicious sangria, they learned and let their imagination run wild creating decorative candles with spectacular colors, a wide variety of aromas, and with all kinds of molds. We were able to see how the attendees had a wonderful time making candles. It was a pleasure to learn from America during the workshop. She shared information about the different types of materials and witnessed all the love that goes into making them; It was a great experience! We highly recommend doing this, it’s an amazing activity to do with friends. America made the experience fun and exciting, and we hope to repeat it soon! WAO Innovation Hub by PBO promised to continue creating workshops of this type so that the community can have fun while learning and at the same time be part of the great family that is PBO, contributing a grain of sand to the development and transformation projects of the most vulnerable from La Romana.
