Keep your fingers crossed ladies… We’ve just heard a rumour that devilishly good-looking Argentine polo player and model for a Ralph Lauren, Nacho Figueras might be coming to Casa de Campo at the end of this month.
Although, the visit of this handsome and world-famous polo player has not yet been confirmed, the chances are certainly favorable…“The Casa de Campo Polo Club is thrilled with the possibility of hosting a polo tournament with the participation of world-class player, Nacho Figueras. His visit is not yet 100% confirmed, but it is certainly looking likely,” Calixto Garcia-Velez, Casa de Campo Director of Polo told Casa de Campo Living.
Ignacio “Nacho” Figueras, is currently ranked among the top 100 polo players in the world and has on numerous occasions competed against Princes Harry and William, when playing as part of the “BlackWatch Polo Team”, of which he is captain. Sometimes referrred to as the “David Beckham of Polo”, as a model, Nacho is the face of Ralph Lauren‘s Black Label.
If Nacho Figueras does pay a visit to our fabulous Casa de Campo resort, he will, as Calixto Garcia-Velez mentioned, be taking part in a polo tournament hosted by the Casa de Campo Polo Club, a fabulous opportunity to enjoy some really fast-paced and high-skilled polo here in Casa de Campo. As with all polo tournaments and games, spectators will be very welcome.
In addition to being a model for Ralph Lauren, Nacho Figueras is also the brand ambassador for Johnnie Walker Blue Label whiskey, and so following the polo tournament (if these rumors prove true), it looks there may be another celebration for us to enjoy – a cocktail hosted by Johnnie Walker Blue Label!
So when might this happen? According to what we have heard – Saturday October the 26th. As soon as we have more details we will certainly let you know.
