On Wednesday 14th of March, a wonderful luncheon celebration took place, organized by Rick McDaniel at his marvelous Casa de Campo villa for all the members of the community who had generously sponsored the 7th Annual McDaniel Teaching Pro’s Tournament.
As a way of thanking the supporters of the 7th Annual McDaniel Teaching Pro’s Tournament, held from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th of March, a fundraiser event to benefit the Ball Boy’s Scholarship Foundation, Rick McDaniel, chairman of the Fundación Familia McDaniel organized a wonderful luncheon for the sponsors at his private Casa de Campo villa.
There, in the midst of nature and freshness of the tropical gardens, the guests were received by the host with a welcoming and thank you speech for contributing with this important cause – which with the money raised sponsors the education of an ever increasing number of ball boys who work at the Casa de Campo tennis clubs (La Terraza and La Romana), as well as providing weekly English classes, with enough money left over to give out as prize money to the participants and winners.

This tournament is the major fundraiser for the Ball Boy’s Scholarship Foundation and this year for the first time raised money with a “corporate sponsor” category with Casa de Campo Living and Silgon Inc. as Lead Sponsor (complete list of corporate sponsors below), in addition to the generous donations of individual Casa de Campo sponsors, who last year donated more than US$30,000 in total.
