The ‘Ye Ol’fashioned Hoedown’ which took place earlier this year on July 3rd was an epic day of America-style fun – howdy y’all! Held at Casa de Campo’s equestrian centre, the Hoedown was a traditional (ish) western/American party with cowboys, donkey polo, kids games and more, which was sponsored by Autobritanica Ltd. and Jack Daniel’s whiskey.
The Hoedown 2011 will take place on Saturday July the 2nd! We look forward to seeing you there!!

The Donkey Polo Tournament
The party started with the Donkey Polo Tournament, which turned out to be rather chaotic, but a lot of fun, with kids of all ages clamouring to have a ride on a donkey, whilst the donkey’s seemed determined to do everything they shouldn’t have been – donkeys are very definatly NOT co-operative!
As the sun began to set the day’s activities (the Donkey Polo, fair games and bazaar) came to a close and Tiffany Dalet and Daniela Dominguez kicked off the night’s entertainment with an impromptu karaoke performance. The girls chose to sing ‘Love Story’ by Taylor Swift and they were FANTASTIC! The girls sang beautifully, with confidence, spirit and even a little acting – at one point it looks like Tiffany is proposing to Daniela!
Live music with band ‘Top 40’ and Can Can Dancing!
The band ‘Top 40′ from Santo Domingo played a wide range of ‘English/American’ songs, meant to best represent the ‘western’ theme, in the interval a troupe of Can-Can dancers took to the stage with an exciting Can-Can show, with the girls flashing their underwear!
The Casa de Campo Living ‘Ye Ol’Fashioned Hoedown’ was made possible by our main sponsor Land Rover, who brought A Land Rover Range Rover and a Land Rover Discovery 4, to showcase during the event and they actually turned out to be quiet an attraction – with Casa de Campo villa owners curious to have a look around and inside these beautiful cars!
Undoubtedly one of the most popular places during the Ye Ol’Fashioned Hoedown was the Jack Daniel’s Whiskey Saloon, which was constantly full with all manner of raucous bandits enjoying Jack Daniel’s on the rocks and Jack Daniel’s cocktails!
The La Aurora lounge was a great place to relax, enjoy a cigar and watch the entertainment – dances from a troupe of very attractive Can-Can girls!! Yeeeehhhhaaaaawwww!!
