Hello all, this is Rebecca Hughes your friendly Casa de Campo entertainment expert and part-time amateur weather girl! It would seem that even people living on a tropical island in the Caribbean have a pre-occupation with the weather (just like the British), so to keep you all informed on how miserable the weather may or may not be over the next few days – here I am!

So from my extensive experience as a weather expert here is what I predict weather-wise for the next few days:

Tuesday (today): RAIN

Wednesday (tomorrow): RAIN

Thursday: RAIN

Friday: RAIN

Saturday: RAIN

Sunday: RAIN

Unforseeable future: RAIN

Don’t Frett! Remember rain every day doesn’t mean it will rain all day every day!

However there is a silver lining to even the darkest, greyest, ugliest, rain-filled cloud and that is: it will not be as hot! The predicted ‘high’ (temperature) for the next few days is only 87 degrees Fahrenheit, which compared to the sweltering 100+ temperatures we have been enjoying (ahem enduring) recently should make a pleasant change. Oh and course there is no storms/tropical depressions/hurricanes on the horizon, which during the dreaded ‘hurricane season’ is always a big bonus!

NOTE/DISCLAIMER:
‘Rebecca’s Weather Forecast’ was written by Rebecca Hughes, an English native, teacher of maths turned journalist and events organiser, who’s only real qualification to predict the weather is based on her(my) ability to google ‘weather la romana’ and to look out of the window and see that it is raining (it’s stopped now, but it was raining – making at least Tuesday’s prediction 100% correct.)

Here are a few useful links where you can read more about the weather from legitimate weather sources/channels:
