Quality Meats steakhouse in New York is about to open in Miami Beach and to celebrate they are hosting a grand opening party on Thursday February 26th with 100% of ticket sales going to the Fundación MIR schools!
Being hosted by Raysa and Alfy Fanjul along with Fourth Wall Restaurants president and founder Michael Stillman and chef/partner Craig Koketsu this exclusive Grand Opening Benefit Party at Quality Meats Miami Beach will continue the Fundación MIR’s 25th anniversary celebrations which started last month in Casa de Campo at the Magical Splendor for Life gala and fashion show with Badgley Mischka (click here for our photos).
Tickets for the cocktail and tasting cost just US$150 per person and in addition the Fundación MIR will also be auctioning off a 1 week stay at the Casa de Campo resort, as well as a VIP Miami Heat package (including locker room tour during half time) donated by Alonzo Mourning and the Miami Heat.
The Fundación MIR with 3 schools on La Romana is one of the biggest charitable organizations of the area. Quality Meats Miami Beach is located at the former Bancroft Hotel, a historic Art Deco gem that has been carefully refashioned by Fourth Wall Restaurants in tandem with AvroKO, the internationally renowned hospitality design firm. The restaurant’s menu showcases elements of a classic butchery with large cuts of beef that are cured, smoked or aged in-house along with house made charcuterie, classic raw bar items and many non-meat options as well.
Quality Meats Grand Opening for the Fundación MIR
The Grand Opening Benefit Party will take place at Quality Meats Miami Beach on Thursday, February 26, 2015, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will give guests an opportunity to preview the restaurant’s delicious cuisine and ambiance by way of lavish food stations, free-flowing cocktails and a live DJ performance.
The Fundación MIR is a non-profit organization which works to provide education to the children of the greater La Romana area, who are most in need. They run 3 schools; the MIR Esperanza (boys vocational school), the Escuela Tecnica Vocacional Fundación MIR (girls vocational school) and the Primaria MIR (infants school).
