On Thursday the 1st and Friday the 2nd of December, many of the children of the Abraham Lincoln School celebrated their Christmas show named “Children of the World” – you would be impressed to know how many wonderful ways there are to celebrate Christmas around the world!
The Abraham Lincoln School celebrated Christmas with a spectacular two-night show held at the school hall in Central Romana, La Romana, where many members of the Casa de Campo and La Romana communities gathered to enjoy the show presented by children in grades 2, 4 and 5, interpreted in different roles with incredible costumes, represented many cultures from around the world.
The brilliant lights and colorful scenery, created by the little ones of Pre-Kinder and Kinder, together with the spectacular acting and beautiful singing of many traditional and modern Christmas Songs interpreted by 90 students, impressed the more than 200 proud parents, families and friends in the audience.
The (one hour) “Children of the World” show, directed by Miss Parker along with the collaboration of 8 other lower school staff members was an exciting and an excellent opportunity to get to know a little about the different cultures and Christmas traditions held in many parts of the world.
