The Punta Cana International Airport, just a 45 minute drive from the Casa de Campo resort will soon celebrate the opening of a second terminal.
The new Terminal B is scheduled to be opened in November of this year and is expected to handle 2.6 million passengers within the first year alone – 3,000 passengers per hour!
Terminal B will have two levels. On one level will be the air conditioned departure lounge with 50 check-in desks, as well as nine departure gates, restaurants, a modern VIP lounge, duty free shops, a champagne bar, playground and a smoking area. There will also be WiFi and connections to recharge mobile devices.

On the other level will be passenger arrivals, baggage collection immigration, customs, tour operators, taxi services and car rentals.
According to Frank Ranieri, president of the Punta Cana Group, the addition of the new terminal, “the International Airport of Punta Cana will feature the best airport infrastructure in the Caribbean”.
The Punta Cana International Airport offers flights to more than 80 countries, and just a 45 minute drive to Casa de Campo along the Autopista de Coral highway it is a great option for visitors or villa owners arriving from around the globe.
