The Dominican Republic is the world’s largest exporter of cigars and 80% of the world’s cigar production comes from the cigar fields and factories situated in and around the city of Santiago and in celebration, Casa de Campo, one of the Caribbean’s most exclusive resorts, will be one of the Procigar Festival’s hosts! The Procigar Festival 2015 will be held on February 15-20 in the Dominican Republic – otherwise known as Cigar Country.

Each year the festival brings together representatives from national and international cigar communities, as well as cigar lovers from all over the world. The Festival gives visitors the possibility of visiting some of the world’s top tobacco and cigar-producing factories where many of the world’s famous cigars are manufactured. Participants will also enjoy, the best the Dominican Republic has to offer in music, cultural events and hospitality, during the Festival celebration.

The Procigar Festival also features a golf tournament, guess where?! At the famous Teeth of the Dog golf course, the pride of Casa de Campo! Teeth of the Dog golf course is included on the list of the world’s top 100 courses, and is also the #1 in the Caribbean!
