Pride, Passion and Carnaval – Ricardo Bello makes us proud!

This post is also available in: Spanish

Fellow Casa de Campo resident and owner of the Marina’s best Asian / Chinese Restaurant, Chinois, Ricardo Bello and a group of 75 co-conspirators, going by the name, Super Toros, journeyed off to Santo Domingo to participate in the “Desfile Nacional de Carnaval” (The National Carnival Parade). Mr. Bello has become a celebrity over the years with his enthusiastic and vocal, and at times quite visible, support of the La Romana Carnaval, as well as more recently our very own La Romana baseball team – Los Toros del Este!

With his usual zest, flair, enthusiasm and the generous and patriotic backing of the Central Romana Corporation, Mr. Bello went forth and conquered and making us proud, bringing home 2nd place in the “Popular Creativity” category.

The beautiful costumes that where worn by Mr. Bello and his 75 compatriots, where designed and created Mr. Bello himself and inspired by his devotion and zeal of our very own Toros del Este!

This great honor is just one more reason to make sure you come out this coming April 26th for the La Romana Carnaval, where the Super Toros will hit the streets one more time!

So join us at Casa de Campo Living in extending our warmest and much deserved congratulations to Ricardo Bello and his team! Any congratulatory remarks you would like to leave, please add them to the comments and we’ll make sure he gets them!
