As is publicly known, the World Health Organization has just declared Coronavirus COVID19 virus a pandemic and calls for action so that all countries take the necessary measures, the first of which is the immediate suspension of all public events. Due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID19 virus, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas is announcing, preemptively, the postponement of the upcoming concerts in the Altos de Chavón amphitheater, of Soda Stereo scheduled for March 28 and Chayanne on April 11, 2020.
“Our responsibility and priority is the safety and well-being of the public, artists, and Casa de Campo employees, guests, and residents, which is why we have made this decision. New dates for the Soda Stereo “Gracias Totales” tour and Chayanne’s “Desde el Alma” tour will be announced shortly. For those who have already purchased their tickets, UEPA Tickets guarantees that they can be used for postponed shows or request a refund. The customer service procedure will be reported starting Thursday, March 19 via Uepa Tickets.“
“Our obligation is to collaborate with the coronavirus containment phase (COVID19) and prioritize the health of those who enjoy our shows and of the people who collaborate and are part of PopArtMusic and their families. We will shortly be informing what the new dates will be,” stated Soda Stereo in a press release.
Chayanne has also expressed his concern saying “My audience knows that I do not like to postpone or cancel concerts, but this is a situation that is beyond our control and we all have to take care of not only of those of us who are traveling permanently but also the public that attends to concerts; so I hope we all follow the care instructions to prevent the virus from affecting us, prevention is very important.”
