A “pop-up” fashion boutique by Casa Bizanco Colombia has just opened in the Altos de Chavón art gallery – and will be open only until this Sunday December 30th, so if you’re a fashionista – its time to get shopping!
The boutique is in Casa de Campo and Altos de Chavón as part of the charity event “Tejiendo Futuro” taking place on the main plaza in Altos de Chavón on Sunday evening – both raising money for the Altos de Chavón School of Art and Design Foundation and Women Together charities.
On sale you will find the very best European Luxury Brands (Moschino, Cheap & Chic by Moschino, Velentino, Roberto Cavalli, Dsquared, Alberto Ferreti etc) represented by Casa Bizanco Colombia – a rather stunning selection of evening gowns, dresses, purses and some incredible shoes – many with up to 60% off the retail price!
Also on sale as is the work of local artisans – who have been taking part in the “Tejiendo Futuro” program, a collaboration between the 2 charities; Women Together and the Altos de Chavón School of Art and Design, who have worked together with a group of Dominican and Haitian artisans – helping them to create commercially viable products. It is these products, as well as creations by the students of the Altos de Chavón School of Art and Design which will be showcased on the runway during the fashion show at the “Tejiendo Futuro” event on Sunday evening.
The “pop-up” fashion boutique will be open daily between 9am – 6pm from December 27th 2013 until December 30th.
This coming Sunday the 30th of December 2012, the Altos de Chavón School of Art and Design Foundation and Women Together invite you to a co-hosted event in aid of both charities – a dinner and fashion show; “Tejiendo Futuro” to take place on the main plaza in Altos de Chavón.
Before the fashion show and dinner , there will be a complimentary cocktail open to the public with a presentation by Dr. Mario Vargas Llosa – recipient of the 2010 Nobel Prize in Literature from 6pm – 8pm at the Altos de Chavón art gallery.
