The Pisadas de Luz Foundation made a significant donation of school supplies to the La Romana Caddies Association on Aug. 15, during a ceremony held at La Romana Country Club in Casa de Campo.
The event was led by Sabrina Troncoso de Elías, accompanied by her husband and children, who reaffirmed the family’s commitment to education and community well-being.

“We remain firmly committed to sowing hope and supporting education as a fundamental pillar for the future of our children and young people,” Troncoso de Elías said during the activity.
The gathering took place in an atmosphere of joy and gratitude, as caddies received backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons and other essential items for the start of the school year.
Honoring Years of Dedication
The work of caddies in Casa de Campo has long been highly valued by golfers who play on its courses. Many have decades of service, forging close bonds of friendship with families who frequent the resort.
For his part, Luis Valdés, president of the La Romana Caddies Association, expressed deep gratitude to the Elías family and the Pisadas de Luz Foundation for their generous gesture.
“This donation will be a great help in easing the school expenses that many of our families face this year,” said Valdés.
