This week’s magnificent photo was sent to us by Peter Hughes and was taken in Bayahibe (a place equally famous for it’s seafood and for it’s fantastic sunsets).
Peter (known as ‘Dad’ to me), took this photo during our dinner at Mare Nostrum seafood restaurant! We were in the middle of devouring a seafood feast and as the sun started to melt into the sea, he left his food and disappeared with his camera. Fortunately, at that stage in the meal we were enjoying seafood appetizers, so nothing went cold, but as the food was soo good there wasn’t much left when he returned – I think this photo more than makes up for the vanishing tuna carpaccio Dad!
