Patronato Benéfico Oriental announces Christmas Café de la Leche! Don’t miss it!

Are you ready for the most magical time of the year? Already posted is the calendar of events hosted by Casa de Campo for this week, and now we invite you to add another very traditional event to your agenda! This month’s special and traditional Christmas edition of the Cafe de la Leche will be hosted by Xiomara Menéndez Dajer and will take place this Thursday, December 9th.

Café de la Leche events help raise supplies for the Hogar del Niño’s Crib Room; over 80% of their milk supply comes from these gatherings, so it’s really important that all the community keep attending! This celebration is slightly different than the rest, the Patronato Benéfico Oriental asks you to bring a contribution of RD$1,500 to buy toys for the Hogar del Niño’s Christmas celebration. It’s an excellent cause to join and support, and most of them are fun-themed parties perfect for shaking things up in Casa de Campo!

This time around we will be getting together at WAO Market. You might ask; what is WAO Market? Well, it’s rather a very interesting concept! It’s an upcycle space, thrift shop, flea market, vintage, garage sale vibe.  An artists and artisans playground to add special value to second-hand furniture and clothes; A Pay-it-Forward for donors and members of the community to gift or sell the things they don’t need anymore; or we would like to call it a wonderful community space for treasure hunting!

We really encourage you to join us and if you are a “regular” then please remember why you attend and don’t miss this next one! We’re looking forward to seeing you all for a fun afternoon and as always, men are welcome too!
