David and Justin Black, owner’s of the Papa Jack’s locale in Altos de Chavon, recently informed Casa de Campo Living they’ve sold the establishment! Since our offices are right across the block, we’ve noticed a lot of movement within the restaurant over this past week as everything is being completely cleaned out.
We will keep you informed as we seek out more information for what’s to come for this restaurant. Rumor has it, a complete revamp and overhaul is in order under the new administration. Though we don’t yet know all the specifics, from what we hear the new owners are very innovative and gutting the place as they prep for a high-end concept. This prime location on the cobbles of Altos de Chavón and a fine-dining menu and ambiance is sure to attract a high-end market. The remodel is most likely going to take quite a bit of time for this luxury makeover so stay tuned as we bring you more details!
Since Papa Jack’s 2008 reopening we’ve come to love this casual and cozy bar that made gathering with friends any day of the week a fun night out and we’ll miss them dearly! See the gallery of pictures below taken by Laura Perdomo of Papa Jack’s after their closing:
