Last Tuesday August the 21st 2012, exquisite spanish flavors and rhythms transported Casa de Campo villa owners, residents and visitors to the ‘Madre Patria’ for the popular “Paella Festival” previously held at La Casita in the Marina Casa de Campo, but this time celebrated at the newly renovated La Cantina Latin Bistro in Altos de Chavon.
By 9pm the event was populated by an important number of jolly Casa de Campo villa owners, residents and visitors, who with an interesting mixture of Italian, Spanish, American and Dominican nationalities, enjoyed a wonderful evening of laughter, lively conversations, numerous cocktails and great food!
Undoubtedly an evening to remember, this edition of the Paella Festival included numerous highlights; indulging at the tempting ‘paella buffet’, elegantly yet generously filled with three types of paella; pasta, sea food and vegetables!

“La Cantina was completely full and everyone had great things to say about the food, sangria and ambiance. We’re already planning another theme night around mid september, which will probably be traditional argentine asado with tango dancers.”

The beautiful and exotic Casa de Campo flamenco dancers!
