Following a break of a few months, due to a lack of suitable photos here we once again bring you photos and stories of things that are ‘Only in the DR.’
We love living in this unique country with its fascinating traditions, rules and customs, I love the culture, I equally love and hate the ‘Dominican’ language, which is at times so hard to understand, I am hugely frustrated by the concept of ‘Dominican Time’ and most of all I love the friendly smiling people – all these things are what makes the Dominican Republic such an interesting and wonderful place to live! These ‘Only in the DR’ posts are meant as a light-hearted laugh at all the eccentricities of the Dominican Republic and its people – I hope you enjoy!
In this our first ‘come back’ post I bring you a few of my favourite ‘Only in the DR’ posts I have published over the last year – to get you into the spirit of the articles and for a good laugh! Here we go:

What a boob!
This lady (a shop manequin) and the perfect replica of a woman with a MASSIVE boob job was hanging out with a group of equally voluptous and dare I say – ‘slutty’ friends in ‘Orense’ – the perfect place to buy all kinds of useless (and pretty cheap items), as well as ogle the manequins!
