Hello Golf fans! We know all golfers enjoy heading to the driving range and working on their swing, what we didn’t know is how cool this practice could be at night!
After it’s opening party in December and BBQ special earlier this month, Night Golf in Casa de Campo has become an awesome way to enjoy the evening hours outdoors. It’s not just the balls that light up either. Ring markers are set up throughout the driving range and goal posts to test your distance and aim. Plus, the accompanying lounge is complete with LED lit seating and bar!
The best part of Night Golf may in fact not be the practice at all, but the gathering of friends and family in this relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the awesome technology and light show. Night Golf has also held Chipping and Putting contests.
Some of their top reasons to go include:
- Playing after dark takes less time away from work and family.
- Finding an LED golf ball at night is easier than finding a standard golf ball during the day.
- Night golf creates a less stressful and competitive environment while providing a fun, relaxed, and entertaining atmosphere.
FAQs about Night Golf:
How does an LED golf ball perform, when compared to a regular golf ball?
An LED golf ball travels about 10% less than most regular golf balls, however the distance markers on the tees and the fairways are set up in a way to make up the difference. i.e. 100 yard marker is placed 90 yards away.
How long does an LED golf ball stays lit?
An LED golf ball lights-up at impact and stays lit for 8 minutes. Total life time of the golf ball is about 50 hours.
How Does Night Golf System Work?
Using the state of the art lighting technology, Night Golf System illuminates: Hole Signs with Yardage, Tee Blocks, Bunkers, Hazards, Water Hazards, Fairway Boundaries, Fairway Yardage Markers, Green, Flag and additional signage directing players from one hole to the next.
