Recently, doctors from the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City were right here in Casa de Campo, giving a seminar on Preventative Medicine and Wellness. The staff for the seminar included two lecturers, Dr. Lawrence A. Katz, who is an Assistant Attending Physician in Cardiovascular Disease at the hospital, as well as Jai Radhakrishnan, the Associate Division Chief for Clinical Affairs in Nephroolgy at the NewYork – Presbyterian, both of whom delivered their respective and very informative lectures very well. The gathering was hosted by Casa de Campo villa owners Luis A. Canela, a trustee at the NewYork-Presbyterian, J.Pepe Fanjul, Jr. and Barbara and Donald Jonas. Also on the hosting committee is Robert E. Kelly, M.D., President of the NewYork-Presbyterian, as well as trustees of the Hospital Roman Martinez, IV and Herbert Pardes, M.D. We hope to see the fantastic physicians from New York’s #1 hospital come see us again very soon.
