new years eve casa de campoNew Year’s Eve 2011 was AWESOME in Casa de Camp – from boat to beach we all had an amazing time! Happy New Year Casa de Campo! Here’s a quick round-up of all the fun and parties we enjoyed in Casa de Campo celebrating this New Year’s Eve:

Party #1: The Palmillaso boat party!

For most (or many) in Casa de Campo, the New Years Eve celebrations started on a boat (or several) at Casa de Campo’s favourite party spot Palmilla, where the annual PALMILLASO boat party raged from 3pm ’till sundown. Party #2: Around and about in Casa de Campo!

Back on dry land, the party continued (for those sober enough) at various private dinner parties around the Casa de Campo resort, at the La Romana Country Club as well as at the a number of restaurants and bars in the Marina Casa de Campo and Altos de Chavón.

Party #3: The Beach Party at Minitas

Much later (from 1pm onwards), the New Year’s Eve celebrations got going on Minitas Beach, where more than 2,000 celebrating Casa de Campo villa owners, residents and visitors came together to dance the night away and start the New Year, 2012 with a bang! Happy New Year Casa de Campo!

Amongst the partying crowd were a few celebrities, including Amaury Nolasco from Prison Break, whom we spotted earlier in the week at the Marina Casa de Campo and also at Palmilla.

With numerous DJ’s and an open bar to keep everyone suitable “merry”, the party continued until sunrise and beyond!
