As Casa de Campo embarks on new projects and exciting ventures, we also have been welcoming and getting to know new team members. We met many fresh faces throughout the Dueños Weekend 2015, so here’s a summary for you of some recent staff changes in Casa de Campo sports:
Joining the team:
ROBERT BIRTEL
As Director of the Golf Department, he is in charge of the management and operation of all the Casa de Campo golf courses, and the La Romana Country Club.
FERNANDO CARLOS ARATA
He joins as Director of the Polo and Dude Ranch, and will also support the new polo project in the Dominican Republic, Polo Challenge 2016.
JOSE LUIS VACA
Who we were pleased to meet and interview (click here to read the interview), comes through the Jim Courier Academy and will be the Assistant Director of Tennis, working alongside Mr. Emilio Vasquez in the development of new projects at La Terrazas Tennis Center.
CALIXTO GARCIA-VELEZ
Continues as Casa de Campo’s Manager for the Sporting Life, Tennis and Shooting Centre, as well as the sales from all the sports facilities.
GILLES GAGNON
Will be applying his years of experience with Casa de Campo Golf in overseeing international and local golf sales.
