Papa Jacks in Altos de Chavón has a new menu ‘Papa Jack’s Caribbean Grill’ which among other things has 5 new gourmet burgers, 2 of which we decided to try for lunch last week and we must admit that we were very pleasantly surprised!
In an attempt to be healthy we ordered the ‘Papa burger,’ beef burger with guacamole and onions (healthy veggies) and mozzarella cheese as well as the fish burger with yucca fries – because we love yucca fries and weren’t too worried about being healthy!
The Papa Burger – quiet a feast, the actual burger was juicy and so large it was spilling outside of the bun and the guacamole onions and mozzarella went with it perfectly.
The Fish Burger – also quiet a feast the fish burger was big and tasty with a nice subtle lemon flavour.
The Yucca Fries – delicious. The BEST yucca fries in Casa de Campo, no exaggeration – these yucca fries were crispy sprinkled with cilantro. YUMMY YUCCA!!!
