You are all cordially invited to an upcoming Nativity play (Nacimiento Viviente) at the Chavón Plaza in Altos de Chavón on Friday the 27th of December
The talented children of the Fundación MIR will present for the Casa de Campo community a musical interpretation of the Christmas Story. The performance of the nativity story, is an Altos de Chavón tradition, brought to us every year by the Fundación MIR – a magical occasion which reminds us all of the true meaning of Christmas and how important this time of the year is.
Participating in the performance will be children of both the MIR Esperanza (boys vocational school) and the Escuela Tecnica Vocacional Fundacion MIR (girls vocational school).
Although attending the charming event is completely free of charge, the Fundación MIR, which includes a cooking school, will be selling traditional cookies, chocolate and ginger tea – with all monies raised to be used to support the day to day running of the Fundación MIR schools; the MIR Esperanza (boys vocational school), the Escuela Tecnica Vocacional Fundacion MIR (girls vocational school) and the Primaria MIR (infants school).
Everyone is invited to enjoy this beautiful presentation of the traditional Christmas story, animated with traditional Christmas Carols. The show will be held in the main Plaza (the Chavón Plaza) in Altos de Chavón, (in front of the St. Stanislaus Church).
We look forward to seeing you all there!
