The 20th annual National Youth Tennis Tournament will be celebrated next weekend – on Saturday the 8th and Sunday the 9th of June 2013 – at the La Terraza Tennis Club in Casa de Campo with the participation of many talented young tennis players.
This tennis tournament will this year be played at the La Terraza Tennis Club in Casa de Campo with competitors playing in 5 different categories ranging from age 8 to 18. Tournament inscriptions are be handled by the Dominican Federation of Tennis (see the flyer below for more information).
The finals will be celebrated on Sunday the 9th early in the morning, followed by a prize-giving ceremony.
For those wishing to take part in the tournament, the Casa de Campo Hotel is offering a special rates on rooms in the new Pete Dye Golf Lodge. A double room with breakfast is just US$64 per person, a triple with breakfast just US$54 per person and just US$15 per child. There are other special “all inclusive” rates also available – see below for details.
Last year the tournament was celebrated in Casa de Campo on Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of October with the attendance of more than 100 young boys and girls of the Dominican Republic – a celebration which set a wonderful end to this year’s activities organized by the Dominican Tennis Federation (FEDOTENIS) (Click here to read more).
