On Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of June the Dominican National Youth Tennis Tournament will be celebrated in Casa de Campo with the participation of many talented young players.
This tennis tournament will this year be played at the La Terraza Tennis Club in Casa de Campo with competitors divided into different categories for 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 year-olds, in the form of singles and doubles. Tournament inscriptions are being handled by the Dominican Federation of Tennis (contact information below).
The finals will be celebrated on Sunday the 14th early in the morning, followed by a prize-giving ceremony.
For those wishing to take part in the tournament, the Casa de Campo Hotel is offering a special rates on their “Golf Lodge” rooms. A Golf Lodge Room is just US$84 per room per night for a maximum of two adults, including up to two children (age 2-12 years), sharing with their parents.
Last year the tournament was celebrated in Casa de Campo on Saturday the 1st and Sunday the 2nd of November with the attendance of more than 95 young boys and girls of the Dominican Republic – a celebration which set a wonderful end to this year’s activities organized by the Dominican Tennis Federation (FEDOTENIS) (Click here for photos and coverage of last year’s event).
