Dueños weekend started back in 1992 and since then has been an event you cannot miss! This past Friday, on October 25th, began the Dueños weekend in Casa de Campo with the “Entrega de Regalos,” a traditional activity within the community where villa owners and residents share an excellent time and receive “Dueños” souvenirs.
Starting at 2 pm, the “Entrega de Regalos” or welcome cocktail at the Flamboyan Conference center brought in hundreds of Casa de Campo villa owners who passed through to collect their “goody bags,” but were also treated to a number of other surprises. They were able to can find out more about the resort through a small exposition of each department which presented them with all the novelties planned for the coming year.
Among the various services and activities promoted by Casa de Campo were Golf, Polo and Equestrian, Shooting, Tennis, the Casa de Campo Gym, Pinecrest, Family Programs and children’s daycare, La Vecindad. The Food and Beverages Department provided delicious food and cocktails that were a huge hit. Appetizers were so yummy they disappeared as soon as waiters exited the door! Plus, we were able to see the “Torrito” posing for pics and giving out tickets for game that night – which the Toros won Yipee! – and world-ranked tennis professional Nicolas Almagro happily posing with community members and autographing T-shirts. Everybody certainly left with a smile on their faces after meeting them!
The Dueños welcome reception was a wonderful occasion to see longtime friends, welcome the new owners to the community and get to know the newest updates of each department in our complete resort. Live music in the Flamboyan lobby was enjoyed by all and many stayed into the early evening enjoying the activity. It was a perfect way to start the weekend! Stay tuned as we bring you more coverage and photos from everything that took place this past weekend.
