This Saturday the 19th of January, Alfy and Raysa Fanjul invite you to the 22nd Magical Splendor for Life – a fundraising event for the Fundación MIR which promises to be an unforgettable one with special guests, celebrities and new talents such as gorgeous Miss Dominican Republic 2012!
This year taking place at the unique Casa de Campo oceanside estate,Casa Grande, the event hosted by Alfy and Raysa Fanjul, will be magically conducted by TV personalities, Sophia Lapachelle and Antony Alvarez who after interacting with the attendants during the coktail hour, will introduce a fabulous fashion show by Badgley Miscka, with special appearance of Miss Dominican Republic 2012, Dulcita Lieggi Francisco who will be showcasing a variety of unique Badgley Miscka designs – a role previously played Dalia Fernández, Miss Dominican Republic 2011 during the Magical Splendor for Life 2012 in Minitas Beach (click here to read our interview with Dalia), as well as by Eva Aria Miss Dominican Republic 2010 at the event held in Altos de Chavón in 2011.
Taking part in 2012 national beauty pageant Miss Dominican Republic, Dulcita Lieggi Francisco represented the Distrito Nacional region (Santo Domingo) – won the crown which later gave her the wonderful opportunity of taking part in Miss Universe.
As a professional model and actress, Dulcita has also taken place in other important competitions, such as Miss Italia del Mondo
The Magical Splendor for Life event will be composed of a seres of activities; a golf tournament played on the Pete Dye designed La Romana Country Club course, teeing off at 1pm, where the philanthropic participants will play in a scramble format.
In the evening, the grand Magical Splendor for Life gala and fashion show will be held in Casa Grande, where guests will be welcomed onto the terrace for cocktails and an exquisite dinner. Once again the lead sponsor, Tiffany & Co., will be present selling their fabulous Tiffany boxes from the mysterious blue wall, each box priced at US$300 – all funds destined for the Fundación MIR.
