Hello there! Today we bring you 2 fantastic pieces of news. First of all – the Fundación MIR Family Weekend raised over US$100,000 and secondly here we bring you even more photos of the party!
In a message to all those individuals, families and businesses who supported the event, Lian Fanjul de Azqueta, founder and president of the Fundación MIR said “thank you from the bottom of my heart” when they announced this incredible fundraising achievement. With 3 schools in La Romana and more than 1,500 students, Lian added that “your donations will be used to pay for scholarships, school supplies, computers and much more!”
The Fundación MIR Family Weekend took place here in Casa de Campo on Saturday August 16th and included a tennis tournament, a golf tournament and the fabulous dinner-dance party.
